There is no acceleration if there is no change in velocity-  Explain it.

The rate of change of velocity with time is called acceleration. This means if
the velocity of a body changes with time then from this change we can
determine acceleration. But when the body is at rest or moving at a uniform
speed there is no change in velocity. So the change in velocity is zero. In
this case, the acceleration will be zero too cause acceleration depends on the
change in velocity.
