For the respiration of plants light is not directly needed. But at day time taking of O2 and releasing of CO2 become easy as the pores of leaves are opened. So, this time the rate of respiration increases. Therefore at day time light has little role in respiration.

The suitable temperature for respiration from 20° to 45° celcius.
