Why can a real image not be formed by a convex mirror?
If light rays emitted from a point after being reflected or refracted on a
surface actually converge at a second point, then the second point is called
the real image of the first point. The convex mirror is a diverging mirror
since the parallel beam of light diverges from a point or speeds over and
never meets at a point after reflection.
So, a real image cannot be formed by a convex mirror.
