Three states can be observed due to objects floating and immersion

  • If objects weight is greater than the buoyancy of liquid than the object
    will immerse.
  • If objects weight is equal to the buoyancy of liquid than the object will
float immersing whole in the water.
  • If objects weight is lesser than the buoyancy of liquid than the object
float while immersing partially. In this case, objects weight is lesser than
    the displaced liquid.
